With nearly three decades of rich and diverse professional experience, Barr. Uzum has served in several high-level capacities across both the public and private sectors. Notably, he has held strategic appointments as Special Assistant to the Honourable Minister of Solid Minerals, Abuja, as well as Director-General and Special Adviser to the Delta State Government on Orientation and Social Development. Uzum is the Executive Director of the Core Value Leadership and Orientation Advocacy Initiative, Abuja, a purpose-driven platform committed to promoting ethical leadership, civic responsibility, and societal value reorientation. Through this initiative, he continues to inspire transformative leadership and responsible citizenship, particularly among young people.

An accomplished academic and legal professional, Barr. Uzum is an alumnus of Edo State University, the Nigerian Law School, and Lincoln University, United Kingdom. He holds a Master of Arts in Social and Public Policy and Practice, an LL.B. in Law, and is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. His leadership philosophy seamlessly blends sound policy insight, strategic vision, and a deep passion for societal transformation.
